Your daily PointsPlus Target tells you how much you should eat for weight loss. It's optimized for people just like you - we calculate it based on gender, weight, height and age. But of course, we know you know you best. That's why we allow you to adjust your Target if you need to.
2 EVERY FOOD HAS A PointsPlus VALUE
PointsPlus values are calculated from the nutritional content–fat, carbs, fiber, and protein - of the foods you eat. You can look up PointsPlus values of the foods you eat in printed lists (such as in your Pocket Guide) or online (if you're a subscriber to Weight Watchers eTools). Or you can calculate them based on the nutrition information.
3 YOU CAN USE YOUR WEEKLY PointsPlus ALLOWANCE WHEN YOU NEED MORE FLEXIBILITY
You get additional PointsPlus values per week, to use however you'd like. Spread them throughout the week, use them all at once, or don't use them at all-- whichever you prefer.
